The event will take place just prior to the Space City Open.
Format
- three strike group knockout
- four-player groups
- random pairing first round, swiss pairing on subsequent rounds.
- all players but winner get a strike each round.
- balanced game selection. balanced player order.
- 48 player limit
The tournament will be managed using the matchplay.events website. The IFPA/PAPA rules will be used to cover all other rulings not listed on this document.
Registration and Fees
This tournament is FIRST COME FIRST SERVED. There is no pre-registration. Please form an orderly queue outside the tournament doors. After all slots are filled, no additional players will be admitted.
There will be a $20 fee, payed in cash only. Fees will be used to cover awards and miscellaneous league expenses. Any remaining fees will be paid out to the highest finishing finalists:
40% to 1st, 30% to 2nd, 20% to 3rd, and 10% to 4th.
